Join us on our Site Study of the newly refurbished Walker Art Gallery. Run in conjunction with Krol Corlett and National Museums Liverpool, Women in Property North West will explore the multi million pound renovation of the medieval, renaissance and baroque displays, alongside the external phase II refurbishment and restoration works. There will also be an opportunity to tour the roof of the building. (This part of the tour is weather dependent).
The Walker Art Gallery is the National Gallery of the North. For 130 years it has housed some of the world’s most outstanding art collection. Many of the gallery’s most important works have been on display in the city for nearly 200 years.
