Student Awards

The Student Awards programme seeks out the best Built Environment degree students, highlighting to industry the necessity to link with Universities early in the education process and also improve the students’ knowledge of the career options available to them.  Many secure work placements as a direct result of competing in the Awards, which often translate into permanent positions upon graduation.

Over the past 20 years over 2,000 students have been through the Awards programme, which explores their course work, challenges their wider industry knowledge and encourages them to hone and develop their interpersonal skills. 2026 has seen a talented and diverse group of contenders, with 142 students nominated by their lecturers, representing 69 Universities.

The regional winners this year will have the opportunity to attend a Winners Training Day in London, in September, allowing them to spend time with peers from across the UK, whilst engaging in sessions such as mentoring, networking skills and market updates.
