CPD Accredited Site Study: Eden

Women in Property North West are delighted to invite you on a study tour of the recently completed “Eden” office development at New Bailey.  Greater Manchester’s most sustainable office building with a 5.5* Nabers Design for Performance rating.  This ambitious flagship development by The English Cities Fund, a joint venture between urban regenerator Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England.

Eden is a 12-storey, 115,000 sq ft office scheme and has been designed to meet the UK Green Building Council net-zero carbon in operation targets using the Design for Performance standard.  It aims to promote wellbeing through an environmentally conscious development and provision of quality on-site amenities.

The building features Europe’s biggest living wall, which is a stunning array of 350,000 plants.  The building will feature enhanced, demand-controlled ventilation with CO₂ monitoring, and will run entirely on renewable energy.
