A great success!
Guests on this tour of the Grade 2* Listed Wythenshawe Hall got to hear about its transformation following a devastating fire.
It started with a light breakfast buffet provided by Little Betty, Cheadle with a beautiful selection of pastries and refreshments.
We started with a short presentation on the history of the building and the challenges and successes during the restoration.
This was followed by a guided building tour hosted by the Conservation Architect Neal Charlton from Buttress and Structural Engineer and President of the Institution of Structural Engineers, Jane Entwistle from Thomasons.
Our VIP guests had an in depth insight into various rooms and details of the restoration work to restore the Hall to its former glory including the amazing Great Hall.
We also had a few interesting stories thrown in for good measure!
There was lots of positive feedback on the day and lots more questions at the end of the tour.
Guests were happy that we had kept the group small allowing everyone to share in this unique experience together.
