As part of our Spotlight Series, join Women in Property South West for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the new Trowbridge Leisure Centre, one of Wiltshire’s most significant community infrastructure projects.

The new facility is being delivered to replace ageing leisure centres in the area and will provide a modern, sustainable hub designed to support health, wellbeing and community activity for generations to come. The development includes a 25m six-lane swimming pool, learner pool, fitness suite, studios, community spaces and extensive accessibility features, all within a landmark civic building located in the heart of Trowbridge.

The morning will begin with light refreshments, providing an opportunity to network with fellow property and construction professionals. This will be followed by a presentation from the Stantec MEP team, who will share insights into the mechanical and electrical design strategy for the project, together with an overview of the site inspection and construction monitoring process. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with delivering a large-scale leisure development.

Following the presentation, guests will be taken on a guided site tour, offering a unique opportunity to see the project first-hand while it is under construction. The visit will explore how the design is being translated into reality, highlighting key engineering solutions, sustainability considerations and the collaborative approach taken by the wider project team.

Please bring your own PPE (boots, high-vis and hard hat), although the site can supply a limited amount if needed.
