Turning Spaces into Places: Next Gen First Street Placemaking Tour

Join us for a morning tour of First Street; exploring how intentional placemaking has shaped one of Manchester’s most successful mixed‑use neighbourhoods.

Developed by Ask Real Estate, First Street has evolved over time into a vibrant big-city neighbourhood combining workspace, culture, leisure and public realm. This guided tour of First Street offers valuable insight into the strategies, partnerships and programming that have transformed the estate into a lively, people‑focused destination; providing unique benefits to tenant occupiers, local businesses and the wider public.

The event will begin with a short presentation over coffee in reception at Number 8 - outlining the original client brief, the strategic placemaking vision and the role of events and activations in building place identity and driving footfall. This will be followed by a guided walking tour, highlighting key moments in the First Street Placemaking calendar, before finishing with a relaxed brunch at House of Social!

The tour will be led by the CBRE Placemaking team. We look forward to seeing you there!
