Join us for an exciting site tour of Sister, a cutting-edge regeneration project located in Manchester. This event provides an excellent opportunity for members to explore the city’s newest innovation district and gain a deeper understanding of the exciting future of urban development, all while networking with like-minded professionals in the property sector.
Sister is a dynamic £1.7 billion regeneration project that is transforming the heart of Manchester into a vibrant innovation district. A joint venture between Bruntwood SciTech and University of Manchester, the development focuses on creating a sustainable, tech-driven, and community-centric space. Designed to house a range of businesses, from start-ups to established enterprises, Sister is poised to be a hub for collaboration and innovation. It will feature office spaces, homes, and retail offerings, all set within a green, accessible environment that prioritizes sustainability and modern infrastructure. The area also includes leisure facilities, green spaces, and cultural hubs, making it a thriving destination for both work and play. The first phase of the development, Renold building has been completed and we will begin our tour there.
The tour will be led by Annabel Meredith and Jenni Greenwood, young development professionals at Bruntwood SciTech. During the tour, attendees will explore key areas of the Sister development, learning about the innovative architecture, the integration of sustainable building practices, and the project’s broader vision to contribute to the local economy and community. The walking tour will also provide an excellent platform for discussions, where you can ask questions and connect with industry peers passionate about urban regeneration, innovation, and the evolving role of women in the property sector.
