This tour is not just a historical exploration but an immersive experience that delves into the stories of Manchester's most influential women, shedding light on their contributions and the city's ongoing dialogue on gender issues and support systems.
Spanning approx. 90 minutes, this unique experience is brought to you by Invisible (Manchester), a branch of the acclaimed social enterprise Invisible Cities. This organisation is renowned for its impactful mission, training individuals who have experienced homelessness to become tour guides, thereby offering them a pathway to meaningful employment and personal development. By participating, you're not just exploring the city's rich history; you're also contributing to a noble cause. All proceeds from the tour are reinvested into the program, enabling more women in Manchester to be trained as guides and develop new, enlightening tours.
We will meet at Chapman Taylor’s office at 08:30am for coffee, breakfast, and networking, followed by the walking tour. Bring comfortable shoes and an umbrella, this is Manchester after all!
Breakfast and hot drinks will be provided.
Members and Non-Members of all genders are welcome to attend.
Registration Deadline: 26 May 2025
