We invite you to join us for a three-part series of interactive and action-focused Perimenopause Awareness sessions with Registered Nutritionist Lucy Patel. 

Lucy will be guiding us along the menopause journey, from what to expect, symptoms to look out for, with a big focus on practical, simple and powerful ways to help you thrive during perimenopause.  Perfect for ladies aged between 35 to 50.

Part 1: Menopause: What to Expect, Diet Foundations and Lifestyle Principles

In part one, we look into the principles of perimenopause; when it will happen, how long it might last, what our hormones are actually up to and the symptoms that come with it.  We’ll be looking at basic diet principles to support your hormones, focussing on the best foods to eat, the best time to eat, how to factor in enjoyable movement and tips on testing and supplements to help you manage your journey better.

Tuesday 20th February 2024 - Part 2: Menopause & Sleep

Sleep – your perimenopause super power! After years of neglecting sleep, now is the time to put it back on to the priority list. Easier said than done for some; getting restful and consistent sleep in perimenopause can be a real challenge.  In this session we’ll be looking into the four pillars of great sleep, investigating the common sleep disruptors and how to get these under control, and crafting your very own sleep sanctuary for restful and rejuvenating sleep.

Wednesday 6th March 2024  Part 3: Menopause, Mental Health & Mindset

In the third session, Lucy will explain the importance of nurturing your mental health during perimenopause and the impact of unmanaged stress and anxiety. In this “hands-on” session, you will have the opportunity to practice breathwork techniques, craft your own affirmations and assess your personal and professional boundaries to help you protect your time and energy, and with it, your mental health. We will end the session with a relaxing 15-minute gratitude practice.

Members and non-members of all genders are welcome.
