Women in Property North West are delighted to offer a delicious two-course lunch at The Clink Restaurant, located within HMP Styal along with a chance to network. Situated in a converted chapel, The Clink Restaurant provides an avenue for students to learn, engage with the public and take their first steps towards a new life upon release.
We will hear from Novus, who work with the prisoners to develop skills and confidence in order to improve employability following release from prison, ultimately reducing reoffending. For this event, there will be a particular focus on the construction industry, with 7 women recently having achieved their CSCS cards through completion of a Construction Awareness course.
We will also have the pleasure of hearing from one of the women currently partaking in the programme, who will be able to tell us all what the education and second chance means to her.
Your meal will be cooked and served by students training towards their accredited qualification and you are welcome to ask them questions about their training and hopes for the future.
Please click here for full menu details.
As the restaurant is not located within the walls of HMP Styal, you do not need to bring ID.
The restaurants do not serve alcohol and alcohol is not permitted in the premises.
Members and non-members of all genders are welcome.
Please note. The attendance fee for this event attracts VAT (listed prices are inclusive of VAT).
