Biodiversity Net Gain: “Development that leaves biodiversity in a better state than before”
Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) is an approach to development, and/or land management, that aims to leave the natural environment in a measurably better state than it was beforehand.
As part of the Government’s plans to halt species decline by 2030, developers in England will be required to deliver 10% BNG when building housing, industrial or commercial developments from November 2023.
Join the conversation with Celia Barlow, Associate Director of E3P in the Ecology division. Celia will provide a full CPD accredited presentation on what this means for development in England finishing with a Q&A with attendees.
The presentation will be held at the Manchester offices of Trowers & Hamlins LLP and will be followed by an opportunity to network.
A light breakfast will be provided during the morning.
