Our annual summer BBQ was a great success, and everyone was in high spirits enjoying networking, food, drink and the glorious sunshine.

Having sold out in under a week the event was at full capacity, and people made the most of the outside terrace at the venue at Castlefield Rooms. We decorated the room with a summer holiday theme, including photo props, sunglasses and bespoke WIP ‘selfie frame’.

We held a raffle which raised £600 for our chosen charity Breast Cancer Now, and charity member Georgia Bransby spoke at the event to tell people more about what the charity does. Prizes were donated by BBQ attendees including;

The event was kindly hosted by Buttress and sponsored by Legal and Contingency.

We had lots of positive feedback both on the day in person and via guest comments on social media. Guests said that they preferred the new earlier time of 12-5 for the BBQ, and wondered whether we would stick to the same venue for next year or explore a new one with a larger capacity.

Charley Smith from Orlando Reid said – Had an amazing time at the Association of Women in Property Summer BBQ yesterday at the Castlefield Room. Met some brilliant women as well as catching up with some familiar faces.

I love the fact that every time I come away from a Women in Property North West event more inspired than ever before.
