We’re recruiting!

Are you a specialist in Marcoms and BD? If so, we really want to hear from you.

In advance of our 40th anniversary celebrations next year, we are changing things up a little at Women in Property.

We have been reviewing how we communicate and collaborate with our members, the wider property sector and other like-minded organisations to drive industry change.

So we are now actively seeking support from Marketing, Communications and Partnerships professionals to help communicate our direction of travel, our values, what we stand for and what success looks like.

As part of this recruitment drive, we would be happy to hear from Marcoms / Partnerships freelancers or if you work in full-mix agencies to deliver the service.

Here’s an outline of our requirements:

Strategic Marcoms Role

Ideally, you’ll have a proven track record in a senior Marcoms/PR role in Property or Construction alongside solid CIM / CIPS qualifications and proven experience working with an Exec Team. But more than that, you be authentic and true to our values showing empathy, kindness and inclusivity always.

As part of the role, you’ll guide us in defining the WiP Marketing and Growth Strategy on a National Level, but you will also need to ‘get stuck in’ demonstrating your Operational Marcoms skills, as much of the role is ‘on the tools’ (research/insights, copy writing, crafting/editing briefs, proof reading, managing ROI).

The role demands circa 16 hours per week (with some flexibility required around this) and will be virtual/remote working with some travel required to support Board meetings around the UK. Mileage is payable and remuneration is dependent on experience.

Partnerships Role

We’re looking for a go-getting business development and relationships expert. Someone who shows empathy, demonstrates human skills and a genuine ability to collaborate with others, building trust and identifying opportunities and solutions (no slimy sales here please).

You will have a proven track record in BD, lead generation and pipeline management delivering on specific outcomes including, converting partners into sponsors, collaborating with other industry bodies and member organisations and supporing our voice in lobbying government or other agencies to help drive change.

We are also looking for someone who enjoys working closely with senior leaders, supporting internal teams and who can represent ‘the voice of the Member’ but who also has strong commercial and strategic judgement and is passionate about creating gender parity and opportunities for women across the sector.

There would need to be flexibility around time to deliver this role as relationships don’t just happen immediately and can take time to nurture. We envisage this role would need circa 16 hours across the week with virtual/remote working and some travel required to support Board meetings and external partner meetings. Mileage is reimbursed and remuneration is dependent on experience.
