The 2016 Awards process - celebrating the tenth Anniversary of the Student Awards - is now underway. Universities across the UK will put forward their best students, who will submit CVs and a piece of coursework as part of the judging process. The numbers have grown each year, with 48 Universities taking part in 2015, nominating 96 students. Will 2016 be our biggest year yet?
The regional finalists will be decided following an interview with a panel of high profile regional judges drawn from industry, higher education and including our own regional Chairmen. Each will be awarded a £300 prize and assistance in achieving a paid summer work placement next year.
They will then go head-to-head in the national final, the winner receiving a trophy and £700 cash prize which will be awarded at a black tie Awards Dinner to be held at Claridge's on 21st September 2016.
We are proud to have been supported by a number of the industry's most respected businesses and individuals both through involvement in the judging process and through generous sponsorship.
Our 2015 National sponsors, Bouygues and Cushman & Wakefield are joining us again for 2016 and we are delighted to announce that Linden Homes will be supporting the Awards at a national level, for the first time, having previously sponsored the regional Awards.

The 2015 winner of the National Student Awards was Angharad (Harri) John (pictured above), studying Real Estate Management at Oxford Brookes University. Harri said,
"To be able to go into the final year of my degree with a graduate job under my belt and to have been offered placements with two global property companies is amazing. I have so much to thank WiP for, the experience and opportunities but also all of the amazing people I have met who are involved with the organisation. I honestly can't thank them enough. It has increased my confidence and broadened my horizons."
Congratulations to Harri and to all the 2015 national finalists. Read more about last year's finalists here.
