Site Visit: 105-127 Micklegate, York

Join Women in Property Yorkshire and NE Branch for a talk and tour of 105-127 Micklegate, a new build aparthotel just inside York’s City Walls.

The architectural design is a contemporary reinterpretation of the medieval architecture found throughout York. Brown + company have been working closely with the construction team on site to deliver high quality new guest accommodation to central York.

The detailed archaeological excavation carried out on site revealed evidence of the structures that formed part of an early Roman settlement and how its inhabitants were living and working in this area, as well as stone buildings associated with the later medieval Holy Trinity Priory. 

The visit will start at brown + company’s studio for coffee, networking and an introduction to the project by the architects and archaeologist, followed by the site visit - a short walk down the road.

PPE will be required for this site visit, including site boots. Please note, visitors will need to climb stairs on site.
