CPD Accredited Webinar: Beyond the Metric – Biodiversity Net Gain and Environmental Net Gain

With mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) fast approaching, it is important that we do not become blinkered by the pursuit of numbers. Looking ‘beyond the Metric’ with broader Environmental Net Gain (ENG) in mind will ensure that we design and deliver spaces that are environmentally, socially, and economically resilient.

This session will provide an update on BNG and will introduce the concept of ENG and provide examples of its consideration, measurement, and delivery in practice.

Our speakers are:

• Faye Durkin and Morgan Taylor of Greengage Environmental. Faye is Co-chair of the IEMA Biodiversity and Natural Capital Steering Group and has over fifteen years of consultancy experience.
• Morgan Taylor is a Greengage Director and has directed many Natural Capital Projects and Assessments. He is also named on the ENDS Power 100 list 2023 as one of the UK’s 100 most influential environmental professionals.
