Cheese Sampling with Burt’s Cheese

Join the Yorkshire and North East branch of Women in Property for an evening of cheese tasting. The cheese will be supplied by Burt’s Cheese, an award-winning cheese producer.

Burt’s Cheese was founded by Claire Burt. It started as a hobby on her kitchen table, but after winning Gold at the International Cheese Show in 2010 for Burt’s Blue Cheese, she decided to pursue the business full-time.

Burt’s Cheese is based near Knutsford, Cheshire, and under the skill and patience of Claire Burt and cheesemaker Tom Partridge, produces a range of award-winning cheeses. Burt’s Cheese was very proud recently to be named by the Observer Food Monthly as Best Producer.

Claire Burt will provide an introduction to cheese making and will speak about the four cheeses which will be provided.

This event is kindly hosted and sponsored by CMS, who are providing wine along with a selection of non-alcoholic alternatives.
