Migrateful Turkish Cookery Class

Back by popular demand! We are delighted to invite you to Halise's Turkish Cookery Class, hosted by Migrateful, our charity partner for 2023. Migrateful is dedicated to celebrating refugees and migrants on their journey to integration by supporting and empowering them to lead their own cookery classes.

Chef Halise will teach you some of her favourite Turkish dishes followed by a sit down meal. You will be grouped with other participants and prepare dishes together as a team.

• Karniyarik (Fried Aubergine with Lamb Mince) | Meat (Lamb)
• Imam Bayildi (Stuffed fried aubergine) | Vegan
• Sarma (Stuffed Vine Leaves) | Vegan
• Kisir (Bulgur Wheat Salad) | Vegan; Gluten (Wheat)
• Haydari (Yoghurt and Cucumber Dip) | Vegetarian; Milk, Tree Nuts (Walnuts)
• Pilav (Turkish-style rice with vermicelli) | Vegetarian; Gluten (Wheat), Milk
• Pişi (Fried Bread) | Vegetarian; Gluten (Wheat), Eggs, Milk

This menu contains meat (lamb) but is vegetarian friendly (6/7 dishes are meat free). Allergens include: gluten (wheat), milk, tree nuts (walnuts), eggs.

There may be some constraints with this menu and group cooking style so if anyone with a food allergy would like to speak to us before booking they are welcome to get in touch to talk this through.

Accessibility: The building is wheelchair accessible, however, there is not a disabled toilet on the premises. We apologies to those who are unable to take part because of this.
