Bedminster Green Redevelopment Site Visit with Watkin Jones

Bedminster Green is a development area made up of five sites (plots) that are being redeveloped to provide housing and mixed use schemes. The project involves:

• Building a mix of new housing
• Restoring the River Malago
• Enhancing public spaces
• Improving local public transport
• Making walking and cycling easier and safer
• Installing a low-carbon district heating network

Women in Property have been invited by Watkin Jones to attend a site visit at their project on Plot 1 of the development site. The site is a 819 bedroom student accommodation development spread over 5 number 4 to 9 storey buildings. The development is being leased by the University of Bristol and will be handed over in August for a September 2024 intake. 

The session will comprise of a brief PowerPoint presentation, followed by a site walk finishing with some light refreshments and a Q&A session to end.

PPE – Vests, hats and safety glasses can be supplied but they ask for safety footwear to be brought by the attendee.
