Step inside sustainable school design with BAM – Lyde Green Site Visit

Join us in Bristol for an exclusive look at the Lyde Green Primary and Secondary School. This building, designed for 1,320 pupils and targeting Passivhaus Certification, has a sustainable cross-laminated timber frame fully encapsulated with fermacell boards to support fire safety. These schools are being designed and built with sustainability at their core.

Hosted by BAM, this tour offers a close-up view of the construction and introduction to the site team. On this visit you will see the completed primary school cross laminated timber structure, the installation of the secondary school frame in action, and the commencement of roofing and window installation. Don’t miss your chance to see innovation in action!

Please note that 5 point PPE is required:

• Hard Hat
• Hi-Vis
• Steel Toe Boots (1 pair of size 4, 5 & 6 boots only available on site for visitors to use).
• Safety Gloves (we have plenty on site so not an issue for us to provide).
• Safety Glasses (we have plenty on site so not an issue for us to provide).

There is limited parking on site however there is plenty of street parking in the vicinity
