Join Women in Property South Wales and CCR Energy Ltd for a morning site study of Aberthaw Power Station.
Aberthaw is a decommissioned coal fired power station in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan. The site was acquired from RWE by CCR Energy Ltd in March 2023 with the strategic view of utilising the sites assets to turn it into an energy park of the future.
Nicola Somerville – Head of Operations at CCR Energy Ltd will give an overview of the site, evolving masterplan and associated activity, supported by Site Managers who will give a tour of the site.
The site study will give guests insight into CCR's vision for the site to be a centre of excellence that drives innovation in a completely self-sustaining manner. The assets across all of the 500 acres will be maximised to ensure the added value is squeezed for every activity, partnership and investment that is made.
Light refreshments will be provided.
