What's changing under the Employment Rights Act 2025 - and what you need to do now

The Employment Rights Act 2025 is the biggest shake-up of UK workplace law in decades. Changes are already in force, more are coming in October, and the most significant reforms land in January 2027 - including a dramatic cut to the unfair dismissal qualifying period and the removal of the compensation cap.

In this practical online session, Sinéad Dartnell of Fiantra Consulting will walk you through what's changing, when and - crucially - what your business needs to do to stay compliant and avoid costly mistakes.

We'll cover:

  • April 2026 - SSP from Day One, paternity leave changes, collective redundancy penalties and the new Fair Work Agency
  • October 2026 - third-party harassment liability and the sexual harassment preventative duty
  • January 2027 - unfair dismissal qualifying period, the compensation cap removal and the fire and rehire ban
  • Looking ahead - guaranteed hours and what's still emerging

Whether you have 5 employees or 500, the same rules apply. There is no small employer exemption.

This session is practical, jargon-free and tailored for employers and HR professionals who want to leave with clear actions - not more questions.

Everyone who attends will receive a complimentary ERA 2025 compliance checklist and the opportunity to book a free 30-minute call with Sinéad to discuss what the changes mean for their specific business.

This event is open to members and non-members of all genders.
