September’s London Women in Property netwalk will explore the leafy charm of Ealing, fondly known as the “Queen of Suburbs”, on our very first event of its kind in the area.
Setting off from Ealing Broadway, we’ll enjoy a relaxed one-hour walk through attractive residential streets heading towards the beautiful open spaces of Walpole Park and Lammas Park. Along the way, we’ll take in a mix of handsome period architecture, village-like high street and the generous green spaces that make Ealing such a desirable place to live and invest.
A highlight of the route will be Pitshanger Manor & Gallery, the elegant country house designed by Sir John Soane, whose distinctive architectural style can be seen in its light-filled interiors and thoughtful detailing. Nestled within Walpole Park, the manor offers a glimpse into Ealing’s rich heritage and provides a perfect backdrop for our mid-walk pause. We’ll stop at the café here for a well-earned coffee and a chance to connect.
We’ll also reflect on Ealing’s cultural legacy, including its famous Ealing Studios - the oldest continuously working film studio in the world and home to iconic British comedies- underscoring the area’s long-standing creative and commercial appeal.
As this is our inaugural Ealing walk, it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow property professionals, discover (or rediscover) this vibrant West London neighbourhood, and build new relationships in an informal, social setting.
We will meet at 7.55am in readiness for an 8.00am start, the walk will last approximately an hour followed by coffee – a hot drink is covered by the cost of the ticket.
Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
