Placemaking sits at the heart of many of today’s development conversations — but what does it really mean in practice, and what does it take to deliver it successfully? This panel discussion will explore the opportunities and challenges of placemaking projects, drawing on perspectives from across the property industry and considering how placemaking ambitions are shaped at each stage of the process.
Our panellists include Sarah Aggarwal (Commercial Property Partner at Farrer & Co LLP), Tara Johnston (Associate Director at Lichfields) and Peter Cornforth (Advisor and Non-Executive Director at John Whitgift Foundation, Places for London, Music Venue Properties and The Dulwich Estate), alongside other industry speakers. Together, they will reflect on what placemaking means in their own work and how professionals can collaborate more effectively to build places that are not only functional but memorable, inclusive and meaningful.
Arrival from 8am with the panel debate due to start 8.30am.
The debate will last about an hour followed by tea/coffee and networking.
Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
Registration Deadline: 07 April 2026
