Join the North Wales Hub of the North West Branch for breakfast with speaker Kate Richards and networking at ‘Venue in the Park’. The venue is set in the beautiful surroundings of Alyn Waters Country Park just outside of Wrexham and managed by Groundwork North Wales - a charity supporting the environmental, cultural, social and economic well-being of the vulnerable and disadvantaged in our communities.
Hear from Kate Richards, Director of Landscape Architect and Building With Nature (BwN) Assessor at Land Studio. Kate will give an informative talk on the Building with Nature design and accreditation process. BwN puts nature at the heart of a development which is good for people and wildlife through the Building with Nature Standards, which provide developers, designers and natural environment professionals with evidence-based, how-to guidance on delivering high quality green infrastructure on new development sites.
This will be a great opportunity to network, and if you have time, you could combine the breakfast with a walk in nature around the Alyn Water Country Park.
Tea, coffee and pastries will be provided.
Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
Registration Deadline: 16 February 2026
