Building the Balance: What Stands Between Us and a Balanced Work Life?

All event fees are listed net of VAT.

This event follows Women in Property’s Building Balance survey that took place in January 2024.

The findings from the survey indicate that the industry needs to change, so Women in Property, partnering with Urbanistas, will discuss the findings of the survey with a panel of leading industry leaders.

If the industry does not change, it will continue to lose talented people, it will never represent the communities that it designs and builds for, and there will always be a Gender Pay Gap.

You are invited to hear the findings from the Building Balance survey, hear lived experiences (positive and negative) and participate in a facilitated discussion while we ask the question, ‘What stands between us and a balanced work life?’

Urbanistas will open the day with an introduction to their work with RIBA and The Fawcett Society followed by a panel discussion chaired by David Smalley from Material Source.

Members and non-members of all genders are welcome.

Registration Deadline: 01 February 2026
