Join us for a tour of Salford’s iconic Buile Hill Mansion as it undergoes a full renovation.
The Grade II listed building, built between 1825 and 1827 for Thomas Potter, a wealthy textile merchant and Manchester’s first mayor, has stood at the heart of Buile Hill Park for generations.
Once complete, the mansion will host weddings and functions in two beautifully refurbished rooms. Behind the mansion, work is ongoing to transform the gardens into a landscaped haven, offering a stunning backdrop for wedding photos and outdoor celebrations.
The mansion is also set to become the new home of the Salford Registrar’s Office. A ground-floor café will welcome park visitors and families and a new community room will be available for local groups to use for meetings, clubs, and activities.
PPE is required for this tour. Please bring your own boots, high vis jacket, hard hat and gloves.
Limited car parking is available. Accessible to public transport via Eccles Old Road (Weaste Lane Bus Stops).
Members and Non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
