CPD Accredited: Longbridge Regeneration Site Study & Tour with St Modwen Developments

Join the Midlands branch of Women at Longbridge. Longbridge is one of the largest and most significant regeneration schemes in the UK – a long-term £1 billion initiative to breathe new life into one of Britain’s most famous industrial areas.

Hosted by St Modwen Developments, this site study will commence at St Modwen’s office with a presentations on the history of the scheme and the overall vision for shaping a new and unique place. The presentation is followed by a site wide walking tour around the regeneration area (using the new foot and cycle way) and includes:

• the recently completed Town Centre
• West Works area,
• MG’s early infrastructure phase
• Herbert’s Yard (the new home of Digbeth Dining Club), where attendees can stay longer for optional food and drinks to continue socialising and enjoy one of the latest completed development projects of the regeneration scheme.

Two Devon Way is a short walk from Longbridge train station, or parking is available at the station’s Park and Ride. The tour will end at approx. 4.30pm (or later if attendees choose to stay on at Herbert’s Yard)

PPE (hard hat, high-vis and safety boots) will be required.

Please dress comfortably as the tour includes of a lot of walking!
