Site Visit: Royal Clarence Hotel with Nooko

Step inside the remarkable history and future of Exeter’s most iconic landmark. NooKo is bringing the Royal Clarence back to life, reimagining this Grade II-listed treasure for future generations by combining its rich heritage with sustainable, modern design.

Dating back to 1769, the Royal Clarence has witnessed centuries of history, from introducing gas lighting to Exeter’s streets to hosting one of the country’s first hotels. After a devastating fire in 2016, the building was left as a shell, but the spirit of the Royal Clarence remains unbroken.

With NooKo’s vision, this beloved landmark will once again become a vibrant hub for Exeter, featuring thoughtfully designed apartments and dynamic commercial spaces. Join Women in Property on a site visit around the Royal Clarence Hotel and witness it’s regeneration, hosted by Max Sayers of Nooko.

After our tour, we will be welcomed into an exciting new fitness venue for coffee and a debrief to wrap up the event. Vyve is a newly opened, women-focused gym and reformer studio located in the heart of Exeter. We can’t wait to experience their women-first approach and see what they have to offer.

Note: Everyone must bring their own PPE – Hard hats, Steel toe cap boots, High vis. Gloves and goggles if you have them, but not as essential as the other items.
