All event fees are listed net of VAT.

WiP Central Scotland Branch in collaboration with Scottish Property Federation (SPF) brings to you a series of webinars every quarter touching on policies impacting the Scottish real estate industry. This May webinar will be a Scottish Election special. It is a lunchtime series with experts in the field.

Following the Scottish Parliament election on 7 May 2026, this special edition of Policy Bites brings together members of Women in Property Scotland and the Scottish Property Federation for an expert post-election briefing. Stewart Argo from Lighthouse PR will deliver a timely analysis of the results - unpacking the new political landscape and helping industry members navigate what comes next. Join us to hear expert political analysis of the Scottish election results, drawing on Stewart’s knowledge of the Scottish Parliament, government formation and engagement strategy for the property and built environment sector.

What to expect from the session?

  1. Election results overview: A breakdown of the 7 May results: seats won, party performance and key shifts in the Scottish Parliament.
  1. Government formation: Who is in government, coalition or majority arrangements, and the implications for policy leadership.
  1. Impact on the property industry: Analysis of likely policy priorities, areas of risk and opportunity for the sector, and what the new administration may bring to housing, planning and commercial property.
  1. Engaging with new MSPs: Practical guidance on how businesses can effectively build relationships with newly elected and returning MSPs, and make the case for the industry.
