About the Project
Originally built as the headquarters of Scottish Widows, this landmark city centre building is currently undergoing a major transformation. Drum Property Group's refurbishment project demonstrates thoughtful retrofit that extends the life of an existing building whilst dramatically improving sustainability, workplace experience and long-term performance. Creating a contemporary, fossil fuel-free workplace, it will have enhanced wellbeing facilities, improved connectivity and a revitalised central atrium at its heart.
What to Expect
After collecting PPE at the site office, visitors will be welcomed with a short presentation from the MLA design team outlining the project's vision, design approach and sustainability ambitions. This will be followed by a guided tour of the live construction site, viewing work in progress and gaining insight into the challenges and opportunities of the simultaneous development of Cat A works and Lloyds Banking Group's Cat B fit-out. This promises to be an engaging and informative visit for anyone interested in retrofit, sustainable design and future workplace environments.
You will need to bring your own site boots, all other PPE is provided.
