Site Visit to Life Sciences & Innovation Centre

Join Highlands and Islands Women in Property for a guided tour of the £9.0m Life Sciences & Innovation Centre currently under construction at Inverness Campus.

This project is a joint venture between Highlands & Islands Enterprise (HIE) & University of Highlands and Islands (UHI) that seeks to establish a vibrant and innovative environment for research and innovation activities, drawing on a partnership of academia, public and private sectors to generate wealth for the region, creating a setting for collaboration to inspire, develop new knowledge and discover pioneering commercial solutions in active health, life sciences and medical nanotechnology. 

This visit offers the opportunity to view the building 3 months prior to handover.

Andrew McCafferty, Director at Austin-Smith:Lord will provide an insight into the project’s design journey from concept to construction prior to a walk round with representatives from Robertson Construction, HIE and UHI.

Note - We are limited to 8 people on this visit so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Full PPE is required - you will need to provide your own.
