Mentoring Training

One of the key features of the Women in Property mentoring programme is that everyone wishing to take part, whether mentor or mentee, experienced or just starting out in a career, benefits from a training session to understand the process and make the most of the relationship. The training takes place virtually and is delivered by our Mentoring Consultant. 

Experience shows that by clarifying the responsibilities of both mentor and mentee and by demonstrating how to develop appropriate communication skills, the training helps members to build effective mentoring relationships. The training sessions also help with the matching process.

Training sessions are held throughout the year and upcoming sessions are posted on this page:

• Wednesday, 28th January 2026, 12:00pm to 1:30pm 
• Wednesday, 25th March 2026, 12pm to 1:30pm
• Wednesday, 3rd June 2026, 12pm to 1:30pm
• Wednesday, 15th July 2026, 12pm to 1:30pm
• Wednesday, 30th September 2026, 12pm to 1:30pm
• Wednesday, 18th November 2026, 12pm to 1:30pm 

We experience a high level of interest in the mentoring scheme which is free and open to all members - register your interest here.

However, places at each training session are limited. To maximise the number of members that are trained, we have introduced a ‘no show fee’ of £95 +VAT (£114). This will be invoiced to any member booked onto a training session but who does not attend without giving 48 hours prior notice to mentoring@womeninproperty.org.uk. This will allow us to offer the place to another member.

We aim to balance the number of mentees and mentors in each session. We operate a waiting list for anyone who has registered and is not selected to attend the next training session.
