Matching is a key element of setting up a successful mentoring relationship. To assist in this process, Women in Property members wishing to participate are asked to complete an application form providing information about their professional background, particular skills and specialisms. In addition, those members who wish to become a mentee are asked to identify any particular issues on which they wish to have guidance.
Women in Property maintains a resource bank of mentors, at all levels of seniority and welcomes volunteers to join the scheme at any time. Members may wish both to be a mentor themselves and to have a mentor of their own. Younger mentees are encouraged to become mentors themselves in time.
