Summer Internship Opportunity with TT Group

Dates: June – August, (dates negotiable)

Hours: 9 to 5.30, with 1 hour lunch break (37.5 hours/week)

Pay: £13.80/hr Location: London

TT Group, one of the UK’s largest privately owned property investment and development firms, runs an £8bn+ portfolio of 7,500 properties with a total floor area of 65 million sq ft. Our aim is to realise value from real estate in creative ways, from strategic land, development, and investment in commercial and residential property. As part of our commitment to the future, TT Group is seeking to provide a 3-month summer internship to offer valuable experience in the property industry and more specifically what a role in a Development and Disposals team can offer.

The Development and Disposals team operate across TT Group’s diverse portfolio: analysing our existing properties, securing planning permission to maximise value, managing the disposal process, and delivering residential developments.

The Role

As an intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the team’s live projects. However, an indicative list of tasks includes:

  • Shadowing Disposals: Observe and support the team through the full process of selling commercial properties.
  • Appraisals: Assist in running appraisals and gain exposure to a variety of valuation methodologies.
  • Inspections: Join site inspections across our portfolio and develop experience in measurement and asset management.
  • Hands-On Experience: Participate in team meetings, help draft Investment Committee papers, contribute to ongoing projects, and collaborate closely with team members across the business.

Our Requirements

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Academic: Currently one year away from graduating with an RICS accredited Real Estate degree (pre-final year of an undergraduate)
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking capabilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Analytical: To have taken valuation modules.
  • Interests: To be interested in planning, development and transactional work.
  • Mindset: Open-minded, enthusiastic, and eager to get involved in all aspects of the role.
