To celebrate the joy of Eid al-Adha, Women in Property are hosting a vibrant Mehndi Masterclass—an afternoon dedicated to bringing women together to share cultural heritage, spark new friendships and celebrate the diverse voices that make our industry so rich.
Eid al-Adha is a time of reflection, generosity and community. Central to these celebrations is the art of Henna (Mehndi) - a symbol of joy and togetherness that has been used for centuries to mark special occasions. We want to open this tradition up to women of all cultures and backgrounds, creating a space where we can learn from one another and build lasting bonds.
We are so excited to be joined by Arouge from Leeds Henna, who will lead this hands-on workshop. She will be sharing the deep-rooted importance of henna during Eid and teaching us how to use the henna cone as a tool for creativity and collaboration.
What to Expect
This afternoon is designed for all levels of creativity - whether you have never held a henna cone before or you’re a natural artist, the focus is entirely on having fun and trying something new. Our workshop will guide you through:
While this is a Women in Property event, we are so proud to be collaborating with and supporting Northern Muslim Professionals to bring this vision to life and a thank you to our event sponsors Gateley Legal and Project Interiors.
