Join Women in Property for a guided Forest Therapy session with Caroline Cook, an experienced therapist.
The session will involve immersing your senses in nature as you slow down and reconnect with nature and yourself. The practice originated in Japan in the 1980’s due to a national health crisis and stress related illnesses. Scientific research established the benefit of forest bathing to reduce stress, improve attention, boost immunity and improve mood.
Current research is showing the great benefits to our health and wellbeing by spending time in nature. Nature therapy is now being offered as a holistic, evidence based health intervention, part of social prescribing and green prescribing in many areas across the UK.
Members and non-members are welcome.
Please note: This session will take place outdoors. Please dress appropriately, wearing comfortable clothes (warm and waterproof layers are ideal), suitable for being seated in a woodland. Boots or wellies are recommended. Please bring something to sit on such as a small picnic blanket or Yoga mat. Please also bring a bottle of water and a pad and paper (should you wish to journal).
Registration Deadline: 12 May 2026
