Jane Barrett is the co-author of ‘How to Take Charge of Your Career’, published by Bloomsbury.
For the last 25 years, she has been a guest lecturer and workshop leader on career development for Exec MBAs, Full-Time MBAs and Alumni at some of the leading business schools in Europe. A regular speaker, she regularly hosts webinars and chairs panels at events such as the INSEAD
Global Alumni Conference, the annual $1 million ‘Future of Capitalism’ Competition and Regeneration Earth where she chaired a panel on addressing the green skills gap.
Previously a Chartered Surveyor and a head-hunter in the tech sector, she sold her first company in 2012, before founding ‘The Career Farm’, which provides online career development courses that help people work out what they want from their career and what they have to offer. Following a Diploma in Executive Coaching at the Academy of Executive Coaching, Jane also trains managers on how to have career conversations with their employees, as well as coaching their employees on proactively managing their careers at organisations such as Nissan, Amazon, the NHS amongst others.
