Join the Yorkshire & North East branch of Women in Property at the offices of Bowman Riley for a breakfast CPD session where we will break down the different stages of archaeology and how these fit into the planning process.
We will explore how archaeology fits into the planning process, taking a hypothetical site and working it through from inception, all the way to mitigation and publication, looking at how the planning process and various policies influence an archaeological development-led project. We also take a look at two case studies and, in particular, how the planning process and the wording of conditions almost ground the construction process to a halt.
There will be plenty of time for questions and discussions at the end. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Tea/coffee and pastries will be available.
Members and Non-Members of all genders are welcome to attend.
This event is CPD accredited – 1.5 hours
Please note. The attendance fee for this event attracts VAT (listed prices include VAT).
