Tipple in the Tunnel Newcastle Christmas Social

Women in Property would like to invite you for a ‘Tipple in the Tunnel’, a wine tasting experience with Hotel du Vin’s sommelier, at the Victoria Tunnel in the Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Begin the evening at 6pm at the hotel bar with a glass of arrival bubbles, followed by a mini tunnel tour, learning about its history and hearing some great stories, before starting the wine tasting within the tunnel. The sommelier will introduce and talk about 3 lovely wines from around the world. There will also be a blind tasting - can you guess your wine?
The Victoria Tunnel is a preserved 19th-century waggonway under Newcastle, stretching from the Town Moor to the Tyne. It was built to transport coal before being converted into an air-raid shelter to protect Newcastle citizens during World War II.
Numbers are limited due to capacity in the tunnel.
Non-alcoholic option is soft drinks rather than non-alcoholic wine.
Members and Non-Members of all genders are welcome to attend.
