MINI Plant Tour and Networking Breakfast

Please join Women in Property for a fascinating tour of the MINI Plant Oxford. At the state-of-the-art MINI plant you’ll get to see it all – from ‘Body-in-White’, where the car’s frame is built, all the way to the assembly line where the personalised MINI is finished. And that’s not all – we’ll also take a look into the future. What does the mobility of tomorrow have in store? You’ll get a preview during our plant tour.

Logistics

We will meet for networking over coffee and pastries before the tour at the Oxford Factory Café, a 5 minute drive from the MINI Plant. There is parking available at the Café and at the MINI Plant.

If you will not be travelling by car to the event, please email laura.gorman@penningtonslaw.com once you have booked your place and she will ensure that there is a space for you in a car with another attendee to travel from the café to the MINI plant at 9am.

Please note that we will not be finished with the tour until about 11.30am.

Health and safety

Closed-toed shoes are required for the tour.

Unfortunately, not all of the plant tour is suitable for persons with an electronic medical implant (e.g. pacemakers, insulin pumps, etc) or pregnant people. This is due to the use of electromagnetic radiation in the production stage of the tour. If this applies to you, you can still choose to join the tour but would miss the first part ("Body in White").

Accessibility

Please note that we will enter the plant in a small minibus. You must be able to board the bus independently. While MINI can provide a foldable wheelchair, you will need to be able to walk short distances.

Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
