Health Hydro Phase 1 – 2nd Visit

Milton Road Baths, Health Hydro, Phase 1 Works

Beard are now nearing completion of the Phase 1 refurbishment works at the Grade II-listed Health Hydro, and we are taking the opportunity to make one final visit to see the impressive progress first hand.

The scope of this complex project includes the demolition of the existing changing block and construction of a new facility; a vertical extension to the southeast corner to house a new plant room supported by a steel frame; renewal of the pool plant; conversion of the former bath house into a modern gym space; full renewal of building services within the Phase 1 area; and extensive conservation repairs to the historic building fabric. It’s been inspiring to witness the transformation of this iconic building, and we look forward to seeing it fully brought back to life.

Please bring safety boots – all other PPE will be provided.
