All event fees are listed net of VAT.

Join Women in Property South West and Greengage for an online seminar covering social value and understanding what social value means for people, places and planet

Greengage have been consulting on social value for over five years and are delighted to share their approach that looks at the relationship of social value, social injustice and climate change.

Social sustainability and designing places that will benefit both people and nature in the long term is critical to ensuring future communities are healthy and sustainable. During this session we will explore what social value is, what it means for your business and how it can be successfully integrated into projects.

This talk will cover:

  • Exploring what is social value in a built environment and placemaking context.
  • Steps to integrating social value into a design or activity.
  • Creating a Social Value Framework through RIBA Stages.
  • Health and Wellbeing.
  • The tools available for measuring, monitoring, and reporting the impacts.

The discussion will also look at the future of social value reporting and how we can move away from financial metrics when quantifying human happiness and wellbeing.

Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to this event.
