The transformation of Bristol Temple Quarter is one of the UK’s largest regeneration projects and will transform over 130 hectares of brownfield land over the next 25 years into a series of thriving, well-connected mixed-use communities. 10,000 new homes and thousands of new jobs will be created and £1.6bn annual income will be brought to the city economy.
The draft Bristol Temple Quarter Development Framework sets out proposals for six distinct areas. Bristol City Council, West of England Combined Authority, Network Rail and Homes England, will work collaboratively with Bristol’s citizens and other organisations to help shape a successful future.
Join us for a walking tour, guided by representatives of Bristol City Council and Network Rail, who will bring alive the Development Framework and what it means for Bristol. The tour will include Temple Meads Station, St Phillips Marsh and Temple Island. This event will bring the additional value of being CPD accredited.
The walking tour is approximately 1 mile and will last around 1.5 hours. We will stay on publicly accessible locations and no PPE is required. The tour will end at around 6pm at Arcadis’ offices 2 Glass Wharf, Temple Quay, BS2 0FR for networking, snacks and drinks, kindly sponsored by Arcadis.
Limited capacity, so book early to avoid disappointment!
