Join Women in Property and John Weaver Contractors for an exclusive site visit to the historical landmark of Castell Coch and learn about the phase 2 works currently being undertaken. 

John Weaver Contractors have been appointed by Cadw to carry out conservation repairs at Castell Coch, which include repairs to the kitchen, well towers and chimneys. Masonry repointing and minor repairs to slate roof as well as repairs and decoration to windows, shutters, fascias and soffits. 

Phase 1 - Completed: advanced works and the urgent removal of cementitious mortar to the external of the well tower.

Phase 2 - On site:  Will cover the well towers and chimneys and further masonry work.

We will be going up at height, to the top of the scaffolding.   

The site requires that you wear your own suitable steel capped boots.  If you have your own hat and vests, please also bring those with you.  The site team will provide hats and vests for those that do not.

There is plenty of parking on site, just walk up to the welfare cabins where you will greeted accordingly.
