Please join Women in Property for a construction site visit of Leckwith Road Community Living Project. The project is being constructed by Encon Construction in partnership with their client Cardiff Council.  The scheme will consist of 41 older person flats, communal facilities, a new community centre and a relocated MUGA, together with associated car parking, communal garden and access road. All the properties will be built to Welsh Government DQR standards for use as Council rented accommodation and will be designed to EPC A standards.

Refreshments will be served, with a brief presentation on the project by Encon’s Projects Manager Mike Flew and Head of Social Value and Business Development Antonia John. This will then be followed by a site walk round, with an opportunity to see inside the communal areas and some of the apartments under construction.

Full PPE will be required, so please ensure you can access safety boots, hard hat and high visibility vest/jacket – the site CAN NOT provide these.
