Meet at the top of the Canalside Green Steps, Granary Square, Kings Cross N1
Registration Deadline: 21 July 2025
All event fees are listed net of VAT.
Join us for the latest in our series of netwalks in London for a Canalside walk from Kings Cross to Paddington.
Please note that this is slightly longer than our normal walks but has the advantage of starting and finishing at major transport hubs. And with another change to the usual format we’ll stop to buy drinks, included in the ticket price, at the bottom of Primrose Hill and continue walking with them rather than stopping for coffee at the end of the walk. Depending on the pace of the group it should take circa 1hr 20 minutes but please allow 90 minutes just in case.
Itinerary
We will meet at the top of the Canalside Green Steps, Granary Square, Kings Cross N1 at 7:40am for a 7:45am start.
We will head west along the Grand Union Canal passing sights including Coal Drops Yard, Gasholder Park, Camden Lock, London Zoo and Little Venice before getting to Paddington. At the Maida Vale tunnel we’ll need to move to the streets briefly, but we will get to see where Guy Gibson, of Dambusters Fame, lived!
Limited to 18 places so do book early
Members and non-members of all genders are welcome.
Please note the date for our next London next walk, Wednesday 13 August, which will revert to a shorter format.
Registration Deadline: 21 July 2025
