The Nutcracker: Royal Ballet, Covent Garden

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without The Nutcracker, in which a young girl’s enchanted present leads her to wonderful adventures and a journey through the Land of Snow to the glittering Kingdom of Sweets. Tchaikovsky’s effervescent score contains a wealth of famous melodies, not least of which inspired the Cadbury’s ‘everyone’s a fruit and nut cake’ advert!

The Nutcracker is classical ballet at its most approachable and visually enchanting. The ballet is set in two acts (with one twenty minute interval) and should end at approximately 9.40pm.

We will be meeting for drinks at The Royal Opera House from 6.15pm onwards.

Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
