MEP talk and She Builds UK exhibition

“I can’t be a builder. Only men are builders”.

This quote led to the SHE BUILDS UK portrait photography project.  Its primary aim is to inspire females of all ages to consider a career in construction by celebrating the diverse women that already work in the industry.  The project refers to these women as “rockstars” and highlights their diverse career paths to illustrate the variety of roles within the industry and to make them more prominent role models.

Join us at AECOM to view this exhibition and also to hear from Ella Clark one of their mechanical building services engineers.  She has worked on a variety of commercial fit out and refurbishment projects including offices for AESOP and Schroders and is currently working on a redevelopment project in Islington.  Ella has a keen interest in the industry and its sustainable potential.  She sits on the committee for the BCO NextGen group.

Timings for the evening will be as follows:

• 6:00pm Guests start to arrive and networking
• 6:30pm Introduction to “She Builds”
• 6:45pm Technical talk from Ella Clark with Q&A
• 7:15pm Networking, drinks and canapes
• 8:00pm Event ends

Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.

The venue is fully accessible.
