Site Visit to ONE Biohub, Aberdeen

We invite you to join us for a tour of ONE BioHub, the iconic new home for life sciences in Aberdeen. 

Located at the Foresterhill Health Campus in Aberdeen, ONE BioHub generates connections between academics, health researchers and industry based in the North East of Scotland, by offering the opportunity for innovative knowledge transfer through the co-location and the provision of sector leading facilities, driving regional and national economic growth.

The tour will be led by project architect, Martin Jarvie from BDP, with input from project managers Turner & Townsend, who will explain the design process behind the triangular building form with secure offices and laboratories on the upper floors, placed on the building perimeter wrapping around a fully serviced core.  Imke Mulder from ONE (Opportunity North East) will speak about Life Sciences and the ambition for ONE BioHub.

The building is designed to offer flexible working space, ranging from “touchdown” space, virtual tenancies, incubator lab and office space, shell lab and office space, meeting rooms and conferencing facilities.

The tour will conclude with a light lunch and the opportunity to network. The event is kindly sponsored by Turner & Townsend and BDP and supported by ONE Life Sciences.
